This is my fun portable setup for recording guitar ideas: Cube Baby and Kokko KB-10 mini amp. The cube baby is connected to the phone via USB C cable so I can both play the guide track and record the guitar at the same time (it has a loopback function). The cube baby is connected to the mini amp's line in like an FRFR speaker. It's far from sounding F.R. and F.R. but I can say for it's tiny size, it can take the guitar's mid range decently compared to a tiny bluetooth speaker.
M-Vave Cube Baby - this thing continues to amaze me for a cheap little toy! just don't expect too much from it! I have a demo of this on my YT channel. This is the easiest way if you want to try an ampless setup.
Kokko KB-10 mini bass amp - it's actually a bass amp but it also works for guitar (with a lot less treble). It's okay on it's own, but it's a lot better paired with a cube baby so you can tune the sound whether for a guitar or bass by choosing an amp and cab that best suits the tiny speaker. It can make it sound bigger than it actually is (not just the volume). With regards to the volume, it's just enough when it's in front of you and it doesn't sound like it will tear apart if you push it just the right amount. I got this for around 2k at Lazada. I've seen similar units with different branding so it's probably just rebranded.
