Mooer GE100 Pro Honest Review (Pros & Cons)

This new guitar multi effects/amp modeler has some interesting features that are quite unique in its price point. However, the lack of midi support can be a deal breaker for those who plan to use it live.

Pros:

  • Can play 2 NAMs + IR
  • Fully flexible signal chain (10 blocks)
  • Can repeat same effect blocks (until it runs out of DSP)
  • Good latency (3 ms)
  • Most other standard features (bluetooth, mobile app, audio interface, etc)
  • AI features
  • Mooer has a good library of captures
  • Good battery life (for the Li version)

Cons:

  • No midi support
  • No stomp mode or scenes
  • There's a sound gap when changing presets
  • It says it has Spillover but I couldn't get it to work

Other considerations in this price range are: Valeton GP-150, Valeton GP-50, Soran Stomp, M-vave Tank Pro, MK-20 and MK-300.

I already sent a message to Mooer regarding the importance of having midi support. Let's hope they will listen to user feedback.
